Iowa is dealing with a trio of injury absences. Second-year guards Chit-Chat Wright and Teagan Malegni and second-year wing Emily Rodriguez missed Iowa’s win against Western Illinois. Wright has been dealing with an upper body injury since traveling to Iowa for the WBCA Showcase in Orlando, Florida.

According to Rob Brooks of Hawkeye Radio Network, Maligny had his tonsils removed on Monday and Rodriguez is dealing with a back problem.

Jensen said of the injured trio after Iowa’s win over Western Illinois, “Emily is day-to-day and chit-chat is still day-to-day. When I see her moving around I see improvement. And Teagan will probably be out about a week.”
