Henry finished the first half with five carries for 33 yards and a touchdown, with the score coming on a 28-yard scamper.
However, after coming off late in the first quarter, Henry didn’t get any more chances the rest of the first half and only saw one snap as far as we could tell.
Here’s a possible explanation of what’s happening.
What happened to Derrick Henry?
As far as we know, Henry is not suffering from any injuries.
So, it appears Henry was getting some rest on the first of the Ravens’ two second-quarter drives.
As far as the final two drives of the first half, when the Ravens are in obvious passing situations and two-minute drills, Henry typically doesn’t see the field, so that’s no surprise.
Regardless, Henry having just five carries in two quarters in a close game is unacceptable, there are no ifs and buts about it.
