Unfortunately, if you find yourself in the middle of a fashion emergency for a Pomeranian named Suzie, or Rex gets a little too happy in the backyard, you’ll have to wait until the next day as PetSmart stores will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. That means you’ll have to freshen up Fido yourself or actually lend your hand to Bishop for a haircut and hope for the best. The truth is, no matter how hard you try to keep your furry, reptilian, feathered, or cuddly companions attractive, sometimes, thankfully or not, their animal instincts take over.

Although this means you won’t be able to update your hamster named Sheila’s wardrobe that day, PetSmart will be open from 7am to 9pm on Black Friday. At least this way, you can arrive before Christmas and stock up on all of your fur baby’s favorite treats, from chew toys to clothes and accessories. Now this is something to make your tail wag. So if you’re hoping to groom your pup or want to stock up on cool treats to help Bruno manage the chaos of Thanksgiving, it might be worth stopping by before the store closes on Wednesday between 9am and 9pm.
