Welcome rain on the way

This morning we will be partly cloudy with highs between 50 and 60.

  • Today will be mostly cloudy and mainly dry as the high temperature will hover near 70 degrees.

  • A few scattered inland showers are possible late tonight through tonight, primarily across southeast Georgia.

  • Necessary rainfall occurred on Tuesday, although not much. A broken line of rainfall and underlying storms will pass through our area.

  • Times will be early morning for inland SE GA, late morning to early afternoon for the Jacksonville metro and inland North Florida, and late afternoon for areas southeast from Jax to the coast.

  • Rainfall totals will be heaviest inland where values ​​of 0.50-0.75″ are possible, and will be less than 0.50″ southeast of Jax.

  • We will remain dry and cool through Wednesday and Thursday before another system arrives from the west.

  • The chances of rain and storms are expected to increase over the weekend.
