Dr. Emerson explains that he “left a woman on the table”, to which Bruce replies, “So did I. You too. I don’t think I gave us enough of a chance.” According to Dr. Emerson, she was the one who “broke up” with Bruce.
He claims, “Because I was emotionally unavailable – as a strategy. I pushed you away.” “I don’t want to get into this but your car was extremely dirty. It bothered me. But what do you say we give this crazy thing another chance? We could hire someone to clean your car!”
