USWNT vs. Colombia: SheBelieves Cup live stream, where to watch online

The 2026 SheBelieves Cup concludes Saturday with the U.S. women’s national team taking on Colombia. The USWNT could reclaim the SheBelieves Cup title with a draw or win in 2025 after Japan snapped its streak of five consecutive tournament wins. This would be the first SheBelieves Cup title for the group under head coach Emma Hayes.

The program has won seven of the last ten editions of the tournament. Most recently, in 2024, with interim coach Twyla Kilgore, who ran the team until Hayes’ arrival in June 2024. They finished as runners-up to Japan in Group 2025 and lost 2–1 in the final.

Now Hayes and his roster are coming off a crucial 1-0 win against regional rival Canada on Wednesday. The victory helped the United States regain control of the tournament table. They lead the competition with 6 points and have plenty of tournament experience for the new players in the senior team.

One final tournament test for the USWNT

Wednesday’s match will be the last chance to experience some tournament scenarios for players who haven’t had them before. Forward Ellie Santner, who scored the game-winner against Canada, was part of the 2025 SheBelieves Cup roster that lost in 2025. He scored the only goal against Japan.

Manager Emma Hayes has given different looks to players in nine positions, including Santner, on Wednesday, and the 22-year-old is embracing the responsibility, having once played the position at home during her youth club days, and feeling more adjusted having played two pro seasons in the NWSL.

“I always say, coming to this team, I’m willing to play whatever role I want to play, and I love playing in any position for this team. I talked a lot with Emma at home and my staff about how I can really bring my skill set to each position, and I’m not going to be your typical catch, you know, cross, finishing with my head, in the air, like a nine. But I’m in that position with speed and agility. Can bring a lot more and, like the turn, more defenders,” Santner said.

Hayes is no stranger to player rotation, so there’s a good chance Santner could be an option off the bench after starting against Canada. Defender Giselle Thompson started consecutive games, which was rare in the Hayes era, so there’s a chance to see defenders Avery Patterson or Emily Sams in action after both were called up to camp following injuries to Kate Wisner and Jordan Bugg.

Colombia head coach Angelo Marsiglia has named a 23-player list for the tournament, although they are missing some key players including Catalina Usme, Mayra Ramirez and Lorena Bedoya. Matthew Lopez was called up to camp following an injury to Carolina Arias.

Their first two games have been somewhat lackluster. A one-sided defeat against Canada on the first day, 4–1, and a narrow 1–0 win against CONMEBOL rivals Argentina. The team was the guest during the 2025 SheBelieves Cup, where they lost 2–0 to the United States last year. US national team head coach Emma Hayes expects a big challenge from the Colombians.

Hayes said, “I think if we thought there was a provocation in the game against Argentina, I think it will be escalated in this game. And I think it’s important for us to be conscious of our emotional control. We can’t control what the opponent does, but we have to be aware that Colombia, like Argentina, have a part to play in disrupting their game.”

“Our reaction, our choices in response to certain things, is what I’m seeing as a sign of growth within us. If we are provoked, what is our response? If we are provoked again, what is our response? How are we managing ourselves and each other? … We have to play our game. I’m interested in what we do and how we impose ourselves. I think they’re so arranged that it’s easy for us to break them. “It’s been tough. And I think it’s been a great tournament, with three very different teams. So I’m looking forward to it.”
