Updated depth chart for ‘SNF’ vs. Commanders

The Denver Broncos have released an updated depth chart earlier sunday night football Clash with the Washington Commanders in Week 13.

The Broncos made several roster moves before their bye, including adding wide receiver Lil’Jordan Humphrey and offensive lineman Geron Christian, as well as promoting cornerback Reese Taylor from the practice squad to the active roster and releasing receiver Trent Sherfield. Following those transactions (and more), Denver has updated its depth chart this week.

Fans should note that although this comes directly from the team, the Broncos still call this an “unofficial” depth chart, so it should be taken with a grain of salt. With that in mind, here’s a look at the team’s depth chart ahead of Week 13.

Denver also has Sam Ehlinger on the practice squad.

running back (3)

Denver also has Deuce Vaughn available on the practice squad.

Wide Receiver (5)

The Broncos waived Trent Sherfield last week and replaced him with a familiar face, Lil’Jordan Humphrey.

Offensive Line (8)

  • Lieutenant: Garrett Bolles, Geron Christian
  • lg: Alex Palczewski, Kelvin Throckmorton
  • C: Luke Wattenberg, Alex Forsyth
  • RG: Quinn Meinerz, Alex Palczewski
  • RT:Mike McGlinchey, Frank Crum,

Palczewski is also listed as the backup right guard, despite starting at left guard. In fact, if Denver needed another guard moving forward, Throckmorton would likely be the top backup for both spots.

Defensive Line (7)

  • D.E: Zach Allen, Jordan Jackson
  • DT: DJ Jones, Malcolm Roach
  • D.E:John Franklin-Myers, Aiyoma Uwazurike, Savion Jones

Roach is probably one of the best “backup” defensive linemen in the NFL.

Outside Linebacker (5)

Q Robinson has made four appearances so far this season, including half a sack on 105 total snaps.

Inside Linebacker (5)

Alex Singleton had successful surgery for testicular cancer after Week 10, and Justin Strnad began surgery in his place the previous week. Denver is optimistic that Singleton will be able to return in Week 13.

Cornerback (5)

Surtain missed the last three games due to a pectoral injury. Barron is listed as the backup behind Surtain, but Abrams-Drain has received the majority of snaps at that position while Barron rotates.

Security (5)

Key, Skinner and Lock have played almost exclusively on special teams this season.

Special Team (3)

  • Of:Will Lutz
  • P: jeremy crawshaw
