UFC 325 launches this weekend (Saturday, January 31, 2026) from Sydney, Australia, and the main card fighters are excited to compete, as we saw during the official weigh-in face-off.
The biggest moments came between the lightweight contenders rafael fiziev versus mauricio rafi. Fiziev met their gaze with intensity and as soon as they came face to face, he began talking to Rafi. Rafi remained silent, just looking at his opponent. Fiziev continued talking, and Raffi continued to ignore him… until they were in front of the camera and Raffi held up a trembling hand, indicating that Fiziev was completely nervous.
The crowd went wild in response to Raffi’s cool response, and we reckon Mauricio won in the mental warfare department. We’ll see what happens in the cage on Saturday night – or rather, Sunday morning local Australian time.
