Tubi Becomes the New Cartoon Network Next Month

Over the past few years, HBO Max has slowly removed a number of classic Cartoon Network series. For fans of shows like Powerpuff Girls, Scooby Doo, And ben 10, It has been a difficult time. But here’s some good news for you: They and many others are moving to Tubi.

Pepsiman, who runs the curation YouTube Broken Saw, first noticed that several of the channel’s shows have recently received Tubi pages. Eventually, the streamer went on to reveal the full list of shows it will be adding, and jokingly said that it will be entering its “cartoon era” on March 1st. The first wave of shows on that date included the above. Ben And powerpuff, justice league, codename: kids next door, And Ed, Ed, and Eddy-And you can see the full list of what’s coming here.

This is exciting for a few reasons, the first being that it’s nice that these shows exist somewhere. While some have got the opportunity from streamers like Prime Video, others have not been able to get the same opportunity. (At least, legally.) It’s also nice that so many B- and C-listers like it Evil Con CarneE And expose the madmen (!!) Getting some love. I haven’t thought about it Mucha Lucha! Over the years, and finally its arrival inspires me to do so.

Any other reasons why it’s good? Tubi has been a great place to revisit old cartoons; Looney Tunes It performed very well in the months following the change, to the extent that the IP has recently been given more life thanks to the TCM deal. So while it sucks that Warner Bros. is still going through some crap, at least it’s good that Cartoon Network and its history live on.

UPDATE: Saturday, February 14 @ 4:37 PT ET: This story has been edited to clarify that the initial discovery of this information came from Pepsiman at Broken Saw.
