Roman Reigns is that guy, and you can know that anytime he appears on WWE television. This guy has the charisma that kids call aura these days, and he’s been performing so consistently for so long that the company’s top brass are putting him on the same level as legends like The Undertaker.
Take it from Triple H himself survivor Series Post Show:
“He’s almost reached a point in the business where he’s bigger than championships. He’s bigger than being a world champion. He’s just a legend in his own right. You know, I thought that about Taker all the time. He’s transcended the business in such a way that you don’t even need to talk about him being in the title picture because he’s been in that circle from time to time. Roman Reigns is right here right now. He just… has an aura about him and just something Is different.”
Reigns is talking as if he is going to go after WWE Champion Cody Rhodes or World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk. When asked what could happen next in this regard, Triple H just kept talking about how great Reigns is and pretty much lets him choose what happens next:
“When you have a star the size of Roman Reigns, he surpasses the World Title, he surpasses the Royal Rumble, he surpasses the Elimination Chamber. Does he really need to qualify or does he just give his shot? That’s a decision we need to make very soon in WWE. I think one of those two guys, CM Punk or Cody Rhodes, is on a collision course with Roman Reigns. It’s worth seeing. It’ll be interesting where it goes.”
Reigns can be seen telling Rhodes that after the loss in the War Games match, both of them will never be on the team again, but he was seen playing well with Punk.
