Many pet tech companies are integrating these popular health-monitoring features with trackers for humans, which are popular for locating your pet if he or she is lost or in your backyard.

Even if you only have an indoor cat like me, I still find this health tracker very useful in better understanding my cat’s day-to-day levels of sleep and activity and comparing them historically. The app gives weekly recaps and alerts if there are irregularities in activity or sleep, making it even easier to know immediately if something is wrong. Plus, if my cat ever escaped, I could track their location via GPS.
