Regardless of location, expect 6 to 10 inches of snowfall.

Wear a jacket if you are going outside. Weatherwatch 12 now. Juno that snow. It has been relentless. Snowing, snowing, snowing. It goes on, it goes on. And this will continue till tomorrow morning. We had some pretty impressive snowfall totals at Eagle Spring Lake, just west of Mukwonago, with 10.8 inches. He is at the top of the list. New Berlin, Kenosha, Pleasant Prairie are not far behind Pewaukee at 7:30, as well as West Allis. Watertown 7.3, Germantown 7.1, Oak Creek Seven Inch Sheboygan. They started this morning with very limited amounts of snowfall. According to reports, they are now starting to pick up 5.5 inches late this evening. And also five inches in Wauwatosa. Now the official report in Milwaukee is four inches. But this was during the 6:00 report. They do this every six hours. Midnight, 6am, 12noon and 6pm, so we have to wait for another hour before we get the updated tally. and Mitchell International Airport. But even with four inches earlier this evening, it breaks the daily record of 3.3. Let’s talk about 1971. I think the airport has probably had about six inches of snow since then, maybe six and a half inches. 2 to 4 inches of snow has fallen since we saw earlier today. Additionally, for tonight, especially for lakeshore areas as we have some lake effect, accumulations will end around six in the morning. And then as we head into tomorrow, we’ll have strong winds out of the northwest up to 30 mph. This could lead to some blowing and drifting snow, especially if the snow falling tonight turns out to be a little more light and fluffy, as there has been some more wet packing snow than what we saw for most of the day. This morning when the temperature was quite cold. Correct? Correct. Now some light and moderate snowfall is still holding its own, with some gaps starting to appear. This will be a common trend as we head into the night. As that low pressure moves eastward. Visibility is also not that bad. We had visibility about half a mile back in the evening. Now they are starting to improve, so at least it shows there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Snow continues to fall across Wisconsin. It’s just a matter of who is seeing heavy snow and who is seeing light snow. But it still has to move east. We’ve got a center of low pressure that’s over northern Illinois, and that’s turning east. So as we head into the night, we’ll be towards the back of the system. And then as we get into the early morning hours tomorrow, some cooler air will wrap up behind it. Low pressure is moving towards the east. We’ve got high pressure to the west. As we move in tomorrow afternoon, we’ll get some sunshine, so it won’t be cloudy all day and that should help clear things up here. But winter storm warnings extend east and into parts of Indianapolis, Ohio, Michigan. So many people are dealing with this storm, a closer look, snow flurries right along the lake shore, light snow falling to the west, inland areas will continue for the next few hours. But you will notice how there will be stronger bands of ice near the shore. And that’s because of the growth of the lake that’s coming out of the lake. We will see that as the winds turn north-west, the lake effect will start moving towards the south. That area of low pressure is moving towards the east. And then we’ll clean things up here as soon as we wake up tomorrow morning, which will give most of us a total of 6 to 10 inches of clean up. But I wouldn’t be surprised if there is. Totals may be slightly higher in some locations, such as the weather forecast we were just showing early yesterday morning. Remaining smooth spots. You might want to keep an eye on that. Give some time to the workers to clear the roads. Also be careful of blowing and drifting snow, especially in rural areas. But as we move towards the evening, we will start to see the winds die down. You’ll see it as we move forward tomorrow. High winds around 25 to 30 mph. And then as we head into the night, we’ll see those winds diminish. But as we move towards the next day, we will keep watching one thing. On Monday. There is a possibility that some snowfall may occur during the afternoon and evening hours, leading to an inch or two of snowfall. We will keep a very close watch. We will have more updates tomorrow morning and afternoon as well. 33 for tomorrow afternoon. Once again a bit of a cool day, as our normal high for this time of year is 42. And then there will be some snowfall from afternoon to evening on Monday. This may cause small amounts of accumulation, especially for areas around and south of I-94 that dry out. Tuesday There is a possibility of some snowfall on Wednesday and again on Friday or Saturday. Something we’ll keep an eye on. So of course December 1st is approaching and it feels like winter and all I’m thinking about is my vacation to CA.
