toy story 5 The teaser reveals that there is a new gift in store for young Bonnie Anderson. It’s a LilyPad, a frog-themed smart tablet that strikes fear into the hearts of Woody (voiced by Tom Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (voiced by Tim Allen) and every other toy that lays eyes on it. And who can blame them? Their beloved child is about to become an iPad baby, and where will that leave non-high-tech toys?
Lilypad has voiced past life Actor Greta Lee returns, while Joan Cusack and Tony Hale return to provide the voices of Jessie and Forky, respectively. At this year’s Destination D23, Pixar also revealed that Conan O’Brien will voice Smarty Pants, a potty training toy.
Destination D23 attendees got to see the opening scene of the film, in which an army of Buzz Lightyears lands on a deserted island stuck in glitchy play mode. Apparently, they will also be rivals in the movie along with Lilypad. How will it all tie together? We’ll have to wait until next summer to find out.
