HOUSTON – Texas officials said Monday that more than 100 homes were damaged after a tornado tore through a residential area outside Houston.
There is no report of anyone being injured.

Photos and drone video posted to Facebook by Harris County Precinct 3 constables showed roofs uprooted. Roads were blocked by some debris.
According to Constable Mark Herman’s office, damage affected the Memorial Northwest neighborhood.

The Houston Fire Department dispatched five members of its sawmill team to cut and remove downed trees, spokesman Rustin Rawlings said.

The National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning for Southeast Texas, including Houston, until 1 a.m. Tuesday. It also issued a severe thunderstorm warning for parts of southeastern Texas.
