Legally known as Rachel Accorso, Ms Rachel has become a staunch advocate for Palestinian children during the Gaza war. According to Save the Children, an estimated 20,000 children have been killed since the conflict began on October 7, 2023. Before the ceasefire agreement in October, surviving children suffered famine and injury from military attacks.
Ms. Rachel has raised her voice against the suffering of Palestinian children. However, Stop Antisemitism has challenged some of Ms Rachel’s posts, some of which include “gross” photographs of Palestinian children and inflated numbers.

Ms Rachel first attracted the attention of Stop Antisemitism in April, when she was named Antisemite of the Week after the group accused her of “spreading misinformation from Hamas”.
He has vehemently rejected this classification, sharing with The New York Times that he has spent his life “committed to the education and welfare of children.”
His nomination for the award faced criticism from Representative Ro Khanna (D-CA).
“Ms. Rachel is a preschool teacher who speaks out for starving children in Gaza. This is not anti-Semitism,” Khanna written on x,
“I hope thousands of people will join me in standing up for him.”
Other nominees for the award include talk show host Tucker Carlson, commentator Cenk Uygur, commentator Ana Kasparian, actress Cynthia Nixon, actress Marcia Cross, influencer Guy Christensen, influencer Stu Peters, fighter Bryce Mitchell and activist Kaila Walsh.
