This Roomba robot vacuum is on sale for only $150 for Black Friday

You can get a solid deal on a Roomba robot vacuum just a few weeks before it actually launches. The entry-level iRobot is available at 40 percent off right now, bringing its usual $250 price down to a record low of $150.

In iRobot’s lineup of robot vacuums, the Roomba 104 sits on the lower tier, adept at vacuuming up dust and hair, but without the cleaning ability of its more expensive Max, Plus, or Combo counterparts. However, the Roomba 104 Vac makes a great first robot vacuum due to its four levels of powerful suction and easy-to-use app. Like iRobot’s other vacuums, the Roomba 104 maps and navigates your home with LiDAR, which helps avoid obstacles. And using the Roomba Home app, you can schedule it to clean specific rooms and even clean particularly dirty spots.

An older version of the Roomba vac is Engadget’s, and you’ll get the same great performance from the new Roomba 104 vac. It also includes a special brush to clean hard-to-reach corners of your home and a charging dock, allowing the vacuum to automatically return to power after charging.

This sale on Roomba vacuums largely comes at a difficult time for iRobot, with the company struggling with a severe financial shortfall. However, no matter what happens with iRobot, the Roomba 104 Vac’s offline mode should mean it can clean your house and charge itself without the need for an app or an internet connection.
