These Beats Headphones Are Marked Down to $150 for Black Friday

what do you say The Beats will be about the fans, but at least they know what they like. These headsets and earbuds are instantly recognizable for their sleek styling and bass forward sound profile. If that sounds like your speed, the Beats Studio Pro are currently marked down to $150 at Amazon, depending on your color choice. I saw them in Matte White, Sand Grey, and Dune for a lower price, with the remaining colors priced at $170 a bit higher, though your availability may vary.

For example, while the Studio Pro lack some of the Apple-exclusive features you get with AirPods, the upside is that they’re more compatible with Android devices. Both platforms get One Touch pairing and access to the helpful Beats app, while iPhone owners also get the benefit of Hey Siri and Find My Device. Other features are a bit mixed, with a good battery life of up to 24 hours with ANC on, or 40 hours with ANC off, but no auto pause when you remove them, or multi-point pairing beyond Google’s Chromebook and Android options.

Like most of Beats’ headphones, the sound profile is decidedly bass-forward, but Apple ownership has bucked that trend over the years. As a result, this generation is more balanced than previous eras, with our reviewer Ryan Vaniata praising the wide soundstage and sharp detail. Unfortunately, most Beats headsets have no equalizer, and the Studio Pro is no different. For better or worse, you’re stuck with how they turn out out of the box. These support high-resolution audio up to at least 24-bit/48-kHz, but only in wired USB-C mode.

For Beats enthusiasts looking for an upgrade or another headset for the gym, these are a solid option at a deeply discounted price. They lack some of the richer and more advanced features found on more expensive headsets, but it may be the right compromise for some people who just want something simple that works every time.
