While many of us wait patiently for a brand new Mario platformer for the Switch 2, Nintendo is filling the gap with an upgraded version of the tremendous super mario bros wonder For console. Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2nd Edition + Meetup at Bellabelle Park (to reveal the full name of the new version) will arrive on March 26. Those who own the original Switch version of the game will be able to purchase an upgrade pack, which costs $20.
There are a lot of new things in the Switch 2 version, including co-op and multiplayer features. Bellabell Park, a new area of the Flower Kingdom, will open. You can delve into some multiplayer modes here, such as one where you compete to collect as many coins as possible.
A section that is about local multiplayer has 17 co-op and versus modes. You can either play them on the same console or use GameShare so that three other people in the same physical location as you can join in on their own Switch or Switch 2. Game Room Plaza, meanwhile, supports local and online play for six minigames – each player will need their own system for them. Up to eight people can play using the local wireless feature, and up to 12 people can play via online multiplayer.
Along with those multiplayer minigame areas, Bellabelle Park is home to the Toad Brigade training camp. Here, you can take on challenges based on the levels of the main game. You can tackle these yourself or recruit up to three friends to help (you’ll only need a Switch 2 for this).
There are new things to check out in the main game too. You can do a boss course that includes all seven Koopalings and (finally!) play as Rosalina.
Nintendo is adding an option where a second player can control Luma. They can help the main player by defeating enemies and collecting coins. You can play as Luma using the Switch 2 mouse control feature. This is a good idea, as it can allow a parent or guardian who isn’t too familiar with game controllers to assist a child who needs some extra help moving forward. super mario bros wonder.
Additionally, there is also a help mode. When this is enabled, you can instantly recover from falling into a pit (a Propeller Flower brings you back into action) and avoid taking any damage.
Friends, that’s not all. Also on March 26th, you can pick up three new amiibo from the game: Elephant Mario (which I’m going to buy), Poplin and Prince Florian, and Captain Toad and the Talking Flower.
A few weeks ago, on March 12, Nintendo would start selling a physical version of Talking Flower super mario bros wonder. The battery-powered device will talk to you a few times per hour, reporting things like room temperature and time. It can also play music. There’s a button you can press to listen (or press to silence it). It has support for 11 languages and can interact at scheduled times, making it similar to Nintendo’s Alarmo. You’ll be able to purchase Talking Flower from Nintendo’s New York and San Francisco stores, its online store, and a few other retailers, with pre-orders starting today.
