Nintendo Switch 2 owners will have to wait a little longer to see IO Interactive’s stab at a James Bond game on the console. Hitman developer has delayed that version 007 first light By the end of this summer. The game is still expected to arrive on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on May 27, which is a delay from its previous March release date.
“We’re excited to see players exploring the reimagined origin story of James Bond,” IOI wrote on X.[We] We look forward to providing you with the best gaming experience across all platforms.”
Earlier this year, IOI suggested that PC players would need a fairly robust rig to meet the recommended specifications 007 first light. A week later, the publisher updated the specifications with more modest requirements and apologized when observers noticed inconsistencies in the original version. IOI said the error was caused by “an internal miscommunication that led to an older version of the specifications being shared.” Meanwhile, Sony has announced a limited edition 007 first light DualSense controller.
