Picking up two years after my predecessor triple stampede, The sequel finds veteran journalist Merrill and his new assistant Millie Thompson in Noman’s Land once again searching for Vash the Stampede. Vash lost his memories after defeating his brother Million Knives at the end of last season, and now he’s visiting “Eric” in a backwater town where nothing is happening… until finally it does, and Vash has to pick up his gun and become a hero again.
The three eventually join forces, as Wash and Merrill’s gun-toting priest friend, Nicholas Wolfwood, create the classic trinity four people. But it’s not all fun and games: it turns out that the knife is alive and active, and still trying to save its fellow plants from humanity and complete death. Knives and his allies are just some of the threats Vash and the gang must face, Including the still-mysterious Independent Kronika, more bounty hunters, and a puppet master leading a robot army.
