The long-delayed Analogue 3D is shipping later this month

First announced in October 2023 and expected to be released sometime in 2024, Analog 3D is finally shipping on November 18 after repeated delays. The console is a reimagined and enhanced version of the Nintendo 64 analog with 4K output and full compatibility with the original N64 cartridges from every region, including both PAL and NTSC versions.

Just over a year after the original announcement, Analogue shared more details about the Analogue 3D, including the console’s design, which looks very similar to the N64. Like the company’s other consoles such as the Pocket, the Analog 3D uses FPGA technology to accurately replicate the functionality of Nintendo’s original hardware, which has proven extremely difficult to simulate accurately, even for Nintendo. It also has four N64 controller ports and Bluetooth for those wishing to play wirelessly, and includes alternate display modes that mimic games played on older CRT TVs.

If you’ve been delaying pre-ordering the Analogue 3D until you were sure it would be shipped, unfortunately you’re now out of luck as both the white and black versions are listed as sold out on the company’s online store. However, Analog has expanded production of its previous consoles, and released multiple versions of the Analog Pocket in different colors and finishes.
