
Today, Wizards of the Coast announced that it will be celebrating “April Pool Day” with a new Secret Lair drop based entirely on Deadpool, which will include a bunch of classic. Magic The staple cards – your Soul Rings, your Lightning Bolt, etc. – in his trademark humorous style.
This is a fun continuation of the April Fool’s drop from around the same time last year – which saw Deadpool not only get his own Commander card, but also join a series of cards featuring new artwork with the character. As well as the standard and foil versions of the “I Fixed It (You’re Welcome)” set of cards, which includes new variants of Lightning Bolt, Deadly Dispute, Soul Ring, Thrill of Possibility, and Lightning Greaves, there will also be a “Pool Party” edition of the drop, which will include the same cards with revised artwork to incorporate more party elements, right down to hats and confetti, and a different foil treatment.
It’s suitably goofy for an April Fool’s release, but given that Wizards is double-dipping on Deadpool drops for the occasion rather than doing something different this year, there’s no doubt that we’ll have plenty of Marvel-themed releases. marvel super heroes Scheduled to release in June. The Deadpool “I Fixed It (You’re Welcome)” set will be priced at $30 for the standard release, $40 for the foil edition, and $60 for the “Pool Party” edition.
