Creator Eric Kripke and some of the cast headed to Brazil for CCXP, where they unveiled a fresh trailer showing what’s to come during our final time with Huey, Butcher, and everyone else. The last season ended with Hughie, Mother’s Milk and Frenchy going to jail, Annie trying to start a resistance, and Kimiko being off the grid. Once they are all united by Butcher, it’s finally time to bring down newly elected President Homelander.
As the Super-in-Chief puts it, a “reckoning” is coming, and we see that our “good” guys will face some obstacles, including Homelander’s son Ryan, a newly unfrozen Soldier Boy, and Jared Padalecki’s playboy-looking character. But the boys aren’t giving up, not that Butcher will let them: he’s willing to “drag up their broken, worthless corpses” if it means killing Homelander. And this being the show, there’s going to be some dead bodies dropped along the way, including the one that beat old Holmes to death.
