Our favorite soundbar for most people, the Yamaha SR-C30A, is available from Amazon for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, the lowest price in the last 30 days for just under $220. What it lacks in high-end features it makes up for with its super simple and compact setup, and the sound quality is good enough for your weekly movie night. It even has a wireless subwoofer, letting you get all the benefits of dedicated bass without having to lug wires around your living room.
An upscale pick for discerning viewers, the Sony Bravia Theater System 6 is reduced to 25% at Amazon for Cyber Monday. This 5.1 surround system is powered by an impressive soundbar in a surprisingly compact package, supported by a massive subwoofer and two surround speakers. Although it lacks powerful speakers, it makes up for it with excellent detail and smooth transitions all around the system. If you want actual physical speakers to compliment your soundbar, this is a great option.
Another option with an included subwoofer that’s a little more budget-friendly, the JBL Bar 500MK2 has a big, bassy subwoofer that helps offset the physical limitations most soundbars fight against. As a result, the JBL Bar itself is thin and compact, while still boasting virtual Dolby Atmos performance that’s above average for the price point. It’s discounted to $450 at Amazon, which is $200 less than its usual $650 price tag.
Although we’ve seen this price before, we’re happy to save $100 on the Bose Smart Soundbar, bringing the price down to just $400 on Amazon. It has some unique and really useful features, like AI Dialogue Mode that can help highlight conversations while keeping background noise and music balanced. They can also connect to Boast Ultra Open earbuds for an immersive surround mode that puts you right in the center of your home theater.
If you don’t have room for a separate subwoofer, or have downstairs neighbors who won’t appreciate it, consider the Klipsch Flexus Core 200. It’s currently priced at just $473 for Cyber Monday, which is $76 off its full price. Even without bass assist, it boasts surprisingly rich sound with excellent detail and impressive high-end. It even has Dolby Atmos, so you won’t feel like you’re missing out on the latest features just because you only have room for the soundbar.
Our favorite budget choice, the Vizio All-in-One Soundbar, is even more budget-friendly for Cyber Monday, with a $30 discount at Target bringing the price down to just $120. Despite the relatively low price, this soundbar has a balanced sound that’s at least going to be a big upgrade from your TV’s built-in speakers. You’ll have to make some compromises on ports, and there’s no Wi-Fi, but at a fraction of the price of our other bars, it’s hard to complain about the little things.
If you’re looking for a soundbar that especially shines in Dolby Atmos, the Samsung HW-Q990D is available for just $1,000 from Best Buy for Cyber Monday. It shines in both its excellent detail and surround effects, making it a worthwhile premium option for a relatively high price point. It doesn’t take shortcuts on input or audio format support, but it lacks some of the more typical features like auto-calibration or Chromecast. Still, if you have the cash to spend, this is an extremely impressive soundbar with a healthy discount.
For a surprisingly cheap soundbar with both Dolby Atmos and a dedicated subwoofer, the Polk Audio Signa S4 is still pretty punchy. Amazon has dropped it down to just $359 for Cyber Monday, which is $90 off the list price. It has a simple setup process thanks to an HDMI eARC connection and a 3.1.2-channel setup with Dolby Atmos, with a fairly wide soundstage and rich, room-filling sound.
While it may not be the flashiest or most luxurious option, the Vizio Elevate SE Soundbar delivers surprisingly impressive and cinematic sound at a $400 discount from Amazon for Cyber Monday. Vizio has eliminated extraneous features like extra HDMI ports or Wi-Fi to put a 5.1.2 channel, Dolby Atmos capable soundbar on your entertainment center for less than $500. It’s a tradeoff we’re happy to make, and as a result it’s one of our favorite soundbars.
If you’re already in the Sonos ecosystem, the price of the Sonos Arc Ultra Soundbar has been dropped to $879 at Amazon, which is $220 less than the usual price. This feature-rich soundbar has excellent software support thanks to some rework from Sonos and a musicality that you won’t find so easily on many other audio setups.
