With above-average suction power, self-washing and drying mopping pads, and other premium features like a livestream pet camera, the Saros 10R is a complete floor suite that will thrive in homes with complex furniture, hardwood-to-rug layouts, heavy foot traffic, or paw traffic. If your home is completely carpeted except for the kitchen and bathroom, this is probably an exaggeration.
Roborock’s expertise in the automated mopping arena has extended to corner cleaning, which I first experienced with the 2024 Qeravo Master and now with the 2025 Saros 10R. This 90-degree and edge detailing is done by a hinged spinning mopping pad that extends from the bottom of the robot vacuum to reach corners where the rounded bot might not otherwise fit.
Compared to many hybrid models that I’ve tested as mere mops without any purpose, I’ve watched the Saros 10R sweep under my kitchen counter and diligently clean up the fine dust and hair that always float around on the outskirts of the room. This flexible mopping pad design is also the main reason I would recommend the Saros 10R over the Saros 10, whose single mopping pad was more likely to cause spills in my testing.
