i think terry [Matalas, showrunner] Realized, and agreed with me, that I feel like Marvel gets rewarded when it makes really big changes. And I think he’s just realized who Vision is. And the vision is for the kid I was when I was a kid – the kid who felt like an outsider and felt like they didn’t have a community that they could fit into. And he knew who these stories were for and who the vision was for. And I think we’ve created a very fun and entertaining show about a guy who is an outsider and trying to figure out who he is.
In the same interview, showrunner Terry Matalas promised the return of James Spader as Ultron has delivered “delicious” results.
I don’t know how much I’m allowed to say because we’re still out early. I think it comes up… I can’t even tell you when it comes up. It will come out this year! Later in the year. I would love nothing more than to show it to you all right now. I’m very proud of what we did. I must say, if you’re a fan of Paul Bettany and James Spader, [Vision Quest] There is a delivery system for both of them. This is one of my favorite things, even in post.
