Israel issues warning to Iranians to avoid taking trains
In a post on its Persian-language account on Twitter, the army urged people to avoid all train travel across Iran until 9 pm local time.
It said being on trains or near railway infrastructure would put citizens “at risk”.
This warning has come at a time when tension remains between Israel and Iran.
Iran has restricted internet access for weeks, limiting the ability of many people inside the country to view direct messages.
However, Persian-language satellite news channels based abroad are reporting the warning, allowing it to be broadcast inside Iran.

Iran rejects ceasefire deal as Trump’s infrastructure attack deadline approaches
Iran has rejected a Pakistan-brokered US ceasefire proposal that was aimed at reopening the Strait of Hormuz and starting peace talks within weeks.
Sources say Tehran rejected a 45-day ceasefire demanding a permanent end to the war.
Iran’s state news agency, IRNA, reported that the response included 10 conditions, including sanctions relief, reconstruction and a guarantee of safe passage through the strait.
With this proposal the effective blockade of the strategic waterway will be removed.
Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump issued a dire warning, saying Iran could be “taken out overnight” if it refuses to agree.
He threatened a widespread attack on bridges, power plants and other infrastructure by Wednesday morning without any deal.

Welcome to our coverage
The deadline set by US President Donald Trump for Iran to make a deal or face the destruction of all its power plants and bridges is just hours away.
On Monday, Tehran strongly rejected reopening the Strait of Hormuz or agreeing to a temporary ceasefire, even as the deadline approaches.
Meanwhile, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has warned Washington that targeting civilian infrastructure is prohibited under international law. However, Trump said he was “not at all concerned” about possible war crimes.
Escalating tensions, the Israeli military on Tuesday urged Iranians to avoid train travel for most of the day, signaling that rail lines could be the next targets of air strikes.
