escape tarkov It is a game of patience. It’s as much about waiting as it is about shooting. You want to collect as much loot as possible and run back to your base to rebuild and recuperate. But in reality no one escapes. Not till now. Developer Battlestate Games added the ability to fully escape from Tarkov when the hit extraction shooter launched on Steam with version 1.0 last month. In just two and a half weeks, a streamer named ‘Tigz’ has put 150 hours into the game and has become the first player to clear the city of the same name.
Escape from Tarkov has long held a spot on our list of the best FPS games, but the addition of four endings in the 1.0 update has taken it from a tense but rewarding game to a do-or-die situation. I just have to infiltrate at all costs. The final, most challenging ending of Escape from Tarkov actually retains all of the game’s core mechanics, but as Battlestate head Nikita Buyanov told us ahead of launch, it’s more of a Call of Duty campaign in its PvE approach.
I warn you now, Tigz’s video contains major story spoilers about the successful infiltration from Tarkov. The streamer, who has nearly 100,000 YouTube subscribers and 180,000 followers on Twitch, delivered the impressive performance live on stream in front of thousands of excited viewers.
If you want to experience this ending for yourself, do not read further. you have been warned. The spoilers begin now. Last chance. Okay, so Tigz’s stream revealed that you reach a ship, and are greeted by soldiers. Settle down for a rest before the fighter planes scream overhead and threaten to sink your ship.

The cutscene sees you sneaking inside the ship through a broken door, just as a nuclear weapon detonates on the horizon. This confirms many fan theories about how Tarkov will end, and how we will survive.
If you’ve accidentally read all this before playing the final game for yourself (don’t say I didn’t warn you!), don’t worry too much. There are still three other final scenarios left to discover. Possibly one of them is a failsafe scenario that involves dying in your escape attempt, perhaps by getting caught in a nuclear explosion. Someone else might see you survive the explosion but fail to get out, leaving you to live in the sewers of Tarkov like a Fallout ghoul or something. The only way to find out is to put in the hours… or watch a streamer do it for you.
