‘Stranger Things’ Season 5, Volume 1 trailer teases an army of Demogorgons

You read it right. While the Demogorgon was once a lone monster stalking our heroes, he now has an entire army out for blood. In the new trailer, several Demogorgons slip through small cracks into the Upside Down and pursue Hawkins’ party, causing Robin (Maya Hawke) to very wisely ask, “What the hell happened?”

These three Demogorgons do not appear to be acting alone, as the trailer also features scenes where the Demogorgon attacks some soldiers. Frankly, a Demogorgon is already too much for my sanity! Plus, I’m not sure I can handle the sheer amount of Demogorgons we get this season.

Season 5 began in November 1987, approximately a year after the events of season 4. After a rift opens between the Upside Down and our world, Hawkins is under military surveillance, and the government is still searching for Eleven. Despite the ongoing manhunt, he and the rest of his friends are determined to find and stop Vecna ​​(Jamie Campbell Bower) once and for all. But obstacles abound – including at least three Demogorgons! – In their way.
