notes:
- US head coach Emma Hayes will field an experienced starting XI, especially compared to many of this year’s matches. Only three starting players with less than 10 caps come into the match.
- Hayes made five changes to the starting eleven from Friday’s match.
- Three teens will be leaving for the US tonight: Clary Hutton and Jordan Bugg, both 19, and Lily Yohannes, 18. Emma Hayes has now started three teenagers four times – on 8 April vs Brazil, 26 October vs Portugal and 29 October vs New Zealand and tonight. Prior to this current run of games, the best roster in which the USWNT had three or more teenagers start a match was February 9, 2000 vs. Norway. Those players were Nandi Price, Christy Welsh and Danielle Slaton.
- The roster for this camp features 20 NWSL players, including seven who will compete for the 2025 NWSL Championship: Lily Reale, Emily Sonnett, Jailyn Howell, Rose Lavelle and Jaidyn Shaw of Gotham FC and Kate Wisner and Croix Bethune of the Washington Spirit. Seven of the 20 players were up for NWSL regular season awards and Reale was named Rookie of the Year after outstanding performances for the New Jersey club. Shaw and Wisner started tonight while Reale, Sonnett and Lavelle started Friday’s match.
- Tonight’s starting XI averages 36.6 caps entering the match, which is almost double the average cap versus New Zealand on October 29 (17.3 – the lowest average cap to start a match in 25 years).
