Sonos Black Friday deals offer good opportunities to upgrade your home audio setup. Several Sonos speakers and soundbars are on sale right now, including the Era 300 speaker, which is discounted by $100, down to $379. Nathan Ingraham of Engadget called it “a great speaker, whether it’s playing songs in Dolby Atmos or not.”
That Dolby reference points to the core innovation of Era 300. It produces spatial audio without the need for additional speakers. (You can use Apple Music or Amazon Music to stream compatible tracks.) Expect Dolby Atmos tracks to sound better with new music than older songs that have been remixed for Dolby technology.

Even if you don’t mind its spatial tricks, the Era 300 is a great-sounding speaker. It delivers rich, detailed, and balanced audio that can pair with anything else Sonos offers.
The speaker supports voice control via Alexa or Sonos voice control. It also offers TruePlay tuning, which listens to how your room shapes the sound and adjusts accordingly. In this model, you don’t need to use your phone: Its built-in mic scans your room for you. This is especially useful for Android users, as phone-based TruePlay (from other models) is only for iOS.
If the Era 300 is a little out of your budget, Sonos has several other products on sale for Black Friday. You can get the smaller – but still powerful – Era 100 for $169 (23 percent off). The price of the Portable Move 2 has dropped to $399 (20 percent off). Even the company’s headphones, the Sonos Ace, are on sale for $279 (30 percent off).
Sonos home theater products are also discounted. You can get the Arc Ultra Soundbar for $879 (20 percent off), or the Sub 4 Subwoofer for $719 (20 percent off).
