Louisville, Ky. (wave) – Rain, sleet and snow will turn to ice overnight. Untreated roads will be slick and snow covered, especially after midnight. Most will see between 2-4″ of snow, with totals being less than an inch south of KY Parkway.

Snow will be gone from the area by sunrise tomorrow, but the alert day will remain in place as travel problems will persist due to snowfall overnight.

Tuesday will be cloudy and cold; Most areas are likely to remain below zero throughout the day. The clouds cleared to some extent on Tuesday night, due to which the temperature dropped to 20 degrees Celsius.

Black ice may develop on any wet and untreated roads that freeze again by Wednesday morning. Cool Wednesday with a mix of sun and clouds. Highs in the 30s.

An Arctic front moves through with light snow and storms late Wednesday night. The possibility of additional light snowfall will come into effect again by Sunday.
