Bonnaroo 2025 was canceled due to widespread flooding earlier this year. In July, festival organizers announced changes to prevent the event from being derailed by similar circumstances. This involves reducing campsite areas that are prone to flooding, reducing camping capacity but creating more space for people staying standing. Camping will also open a day before the festival start date to prevent long lines and delays at entry.

Organizers said, “In the 2025/2026 off-season we will dedicate an additional multi-million-dollar budget and begin improvements that will prioritize campgrounds and other areas affected by extreme weather in 2025.” “Some of these projects will include replanting the property, continuing to enhance access roads within the campground, adding more drainage, and strengthening primary water runoff routes.”
