Shane Gillis to perform largest headline show of career at Lincoln Financial Field in 2026

Shane Gillis will play the biggest headline show of his solo career at the Byrds’ home next summer.

Gillis, a Mechanicsburg native and lifelong Eagles fan who came to the team 2024 promotional videoannounced a one-night-only show on Tuesday, July 17, 2026, at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.

Comedians and actors will bring their stand-up comedy to more than 60,000 fans at The Link with yet-to-be-announced guests.

Tickets for the show will go on sale to the general public on Black Friday at 10am. According to a press release, an artist presale went live at 10 a.m. Tuesday with the code SGLIVE, and another local presale will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday.

“Shane has always been an incredibly supportive Eagles fan, whose local roots to the area will serve as a great homecoming,” Brian Napoli, senior vice president of corporate partnerships with the Eagles, said in a press release. “We value the relationship we share with Shane and look forward to creating a special evening for him and his many fans at Lincoln Financial Field on July 17.”

Gillis has strong ties to the Philadelphia area. He graduated from West Chester University and performed shows in Philly, including the Helium Comedy Club on Sansom Street. He is a fan of Phillies sports, often seen wearing Eagles or Phillies gear or at games. He has thrown out the first pitch in a Phillies game before.

The Central Pennsylvania native also stars in his own scripted Netflix series “Tires,” which he co-writes with Philly native John McKeever. The show has been renewed for a third season, which is expected to drop in 2026. He also released his second stand-up special, “Beautiful Dogs”, on Netflix in 2023. His first, “Shane Gillis: Live in Austin”, was self-released in 2021 and has received over 40 million views.

Gillis also has a role in “Madden,” a biographical film about the legendary John Madden starring Christian Bale and Nicolas Cage.
