Ahead of its premiere, Dave Filoni has revealed that the Star Wars animated series is Maul: Shadow Lord Will return for the second season. Lucasfilm co-president reveals season 2 is already in the works Sir That “ultimately, people like that character.”

Maul: Shadow Lord Zebrak explores the story of the Sith Lord, taking place approximately one year after the time of the Clone Wars. The 10 episodes of Season 1 will stream twice a week on Disney+ starting April 6 through May 6. It involves Maul’s plot to re-form his criminal syndicate “on a planet untouched by the Empire”, according to Lucasfilm. “There, he meets a disillusioned young Jedi Padawan who may be his apprentice who wishes to aid him in his continued quest for revenge.”
