Serie A: Lecce vs. Roma – Probable line-ups and where to watch on TV

Gian Piero Gasperini is in a state of defensive emergency as Roma prepare to face Lecce away from home in Serie A on Tuesday evening.

A full, 10-match Serie A gameweek will be laid out over the next three evenings, starting with Pisa vs. Como on Tuesday afternoon and concluding with Milan vs. Genoa on Thursday night.

Lecce are coming off the back of an impressive 1-1 draw against Juventus in Serie A last time out, and Eusebio Di Francesco is not expected to make too many changes to his starting line-up as a result.

Francesco Camarda is expected to start at centre-forward, but it remains to be seen which combination of Santiago Pierotti, Konan N’Dri, Lameck Banda or Ricardo Sottil starts on the wings.

Roma aim to bounce back against Lecce after their 1-0 defeat to Atalanta at the weekend.

However, Gasperini has his work cut out for him, as all three of his first-choice players are unavailable this evening: Ivan Ndika is taking part in the Africa Cup of Nations and Gianluca Mancini and Mario Hermoso both have to sit out through suspension.

That means three of Daniel Gilardi, Jan Ziolkowski and Devin Rensch are likely to make temporary returns on Tuesday night.

Artem Dovbek is not quite ready to start for Roma after injury, meaning there could be another chance for Ivan Ferguson at centre-forward. Paulo Dybala could also potentially be rested.

Kick-off is scheduled for 17.00 GMT.
