SanDisk’s Switch 2-compatible microSD Express card is cheaper than ever ahead of Black Friday

If you’ve already purchased the Switch 2, you’re probably looking for deals that can help you get your new console ready without spending too much money. Although perhaps not the most exciting thing, a microSD Express card will be a vital component for long-term gaming enjoyment. SanDisk’s 256GB microSD Express Card for the Switch 2 is on sale for the first time ahead of Black Friday, reduced to $60 right now. This model is also available in 128GB and 512GB storage sizes, but only the 256GB model is currently discounted.

This particular model easily made it to our list of the best microSD cards for Nintendo Switch 2. It even made it to our list of the best Switch 2 accessories. This just gets the job done. We really liked the pace here. It was the fastest of all the cards we tested when transferring and loading games.

We also found that it performed admirably in almost every test we ran. The card was always right near the top due to its excellent sequential read and write performance. This was supported by benchmark testing with PC tools such as CrystalDiskMark.

The Switch 2 only works with SD Express cards, so that covers that. Luckily, this card isn’t exclusive to Nintendo’s latest console. It’ll work with just about everything, if you ever feel that it’s outlived its usefulness as a storage container for Mario and friends.
