Saddiq Bey continued his productive performance in Sunday’s loss against the Lakers and posted 22 points (9 of 13 FG, 2 of 1 FT), 11 rebounds, three assists, one steal and three three-pointers.
The forward has been a steady source of fantasy production since rejoining the starting lineup on November 22, and is now recording four double-doubles in his last five contests. Bay’s fantasy value has increased as he fills the void left by multiple injuries on the Pelicans’ roster. His starting role appears to be safe for the immediate future, as Herb Jones is expected to be sidelined until at least Week 8 with a calf strain. New Orleans begins a three-game slate in Week 7 with a matchup against the Timberwolves on Tuesday.
