Murfreesboro, Tenn., November 26, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Rising grocery prices and other factors are stressing many Tennessee families, with an unexpected holiday arriving just in time for Thanksgiving. Republic Services, a leader in the environmental services industry, donated 1,000 turkeys to families from multiple locations in Tennessee, including Memphis, Murfreesboro, Nashville, Chattanooga, Loudon and Lenoir City.
The turkey distribution was accomplished in partnership with local non-profit organizations, housing authorities and senior centers – all identified by local leaders and elected officials as areas that needed help this holiday season.
