WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. – The Rams signed tight end Nick Vannett from the Vikings’ practice squad to their active roster on Wednesday.
The 32-year-old Vannett played in four active games for Minnesota, primarily on special teams; In that fourth game – in Week 9 against the Lions – he saw a season-high 27 offensive snaps.
A 10-year NFL veteran, Vannett has 108 receptions for 1,012 yards and nine touchdowns in 115 career games (54 starts).
He originally entered the NFL as a third-round pick (94th overall) by the Seahawks out of Ohio State in 2016, having stints with the Steelers, Broncos, Saints, Giants, and Titans since 2019.
Los Angeles also claimed cornerback Darion Kendricks off waivers from Seattle. Kendrick, who originally entered the league as a sixth-round draft pick by the Rams out of Georgia in 2022, recorded seven total tackles, five pass defenses and two interceptions in 10 games played with the Seahawks this season.
