Project Patchouli Documentation

Open-source EMR pen tablet hardware implementation and documentation

Patchouli is an open-source electro-magnetic drawing tablet hardware implementation, consisting of a coil array, commercially available parts, and an RF front end built using digital signal processing algorithms. The design is compatible with most commercial pens from various vendors, providing an ultra-low-latency pen input experience for your customized hardware projects.

In addition, the goal of this project is to provide comprehensive documentation of EMR technology, including mechanisms, circuit implementations, signal processing algorithms, and pen protocols of various product lines from different vendors.
