Flair faces one of the biggest challenges in his decade-long wrestling career in December 2023. Flair suffered a knee injury during a WWE SmackDown match against Asuka, and the injury put her out of commission for almost a year as she underwent rehabilitation.
Flair performed a number of strengthening exercises during his rehabilitation, ranging from terminal knee extensions with resistance bands to blood flow restriction trainingOne aspect of improvement he did not expect was the emphasis on ankle mobility, These included exercises like box jumps and one-legged hops to help build ankle balance, “To have strong knees, you need ankle stability,” she says,
She recalls that by the age of seven months his rehabilitation was going very well. As soon as she climbed the stairs, her quadriceps began to hurt and she feared her knee would get damaged again. Instead of adjusting his training, he stopped active activity for five weeks. She recalls that it was the worst idea, having to take an extra month to get back on track. “It is better to move than not to move.”
Flair’s biggest tip for those who get injured is to stay determined. She adds, “You can come back stronger or weaker depending on how much effort you put in… The uncertain are those who did not put in the effort in time.” “You can apply it to anything, any scenario.”
