The Creighton Bluejays return to Omaha to begin three consecutive games and seven of the next eight games will be played in the home state. The Jays are coming off a disappointing trip to Las Vegas where they were only able to win once in their third and final attempt against an injured, tired Oregon team. Creighton will play Nicholls State and its first Southland Conference opponent for the first time on Tuesday after playing UTRGV and Houston Christian a season ago.

Creighton (4-3) will turn its attention to its final non-Power-5 opponent in Omaha before heading west on I-80 to play Nebraska on Sunday. The Jays head into the Vegas trip with a different rotation and better shooters. Owen Freeman was able to contribute 14 points
Limited to 17 minutes against Oregon, Josh Dix scored 15 in losses against Baylor and Iowa State, and Blake Harper scored 18 against the Ducks in losses against the Cyclones.
Freshman Hudson Greer scored 16, 12, and 3 points in just under forty nineteen minutes on a three-game swing. The issues on the glass were not completely resolved, as they allowed Iowa State and Oregon to grab 11 and 16 offensive rebounds, respectively.

Nicholls State (0-6) comes to Omaha to finish a seven-game road trip. The team from Baton Rouge is coming off a loss to Tulane in New Orleans, where they were able to erase a ten-point deficit but could not maintain momentum. The team has four players who carry the highest scoring load, Trey English (13.5 points per game), Jaylen Searles (13.4), Jalik Dunkley (12) and Sean Malone (11.8). Six-foot-seven Dunkley provides rebounding for Colonels

He averages 7.7 boards per game. He scored 15 points against Tulane and 12 points against Oklahoma State, his fifth game of the year. Dunkley spent time at Dream City Christian, the same school that produced former Bluejay Arthur Kaluma. Nicholls State shot 61% at the free throw line, 39.6% from the field and 29% from beyond the arc.

The Colonels are expected to finish the season in the middle of the twelve-team Southland Conference.
