IGN revealed the first look at the company’s toy and figure line, which features something for each of the film’s major characters. To start, there are 5-inch figures for Mario, Luigi, Daisy, Yoshi, and Bowser Jr. (in their regular and Wonder forms), 2.5-inch figures for the motorcycle brothers, and 1.5-inch figures for two forms of the brothers, Yoshi, Jr. and Peach. There’s also a glow-in-the-dark Luma yo-yo that comes in green, yellow, and blue.
As for pricing, the 5-inch figures will be $20 individually, and Walmart has a special Junior figure with a Punching Joker car for the same price. Target’s 4-pack includes Mario, Luigi, Jr. and Yoshi, which will run you $60, and the Luma yo-yo for $5 each. The 2.5-inch figures are $15 each and exclusive to Walmart, and the 1.5-inch figures cost $7 individually.
For doll fans, there are 9 and 14 inch ones. The first wave of 9-inch dolls starts with Brothers and Peaches with Roto heads and plush bodies, priced at $3 each. The 14-inch brothers are in their fire forms and come with full articulation. They’re $30 each and are exclusive to Target.
Ultimately, there are three super mario galaxy movie Playset built around Yoshi, Peach and Bowser. The first is a 9-inch egg that opens to reveal a double-sided playset that includes a T.Rex skeleton and 1.5-inch Yoshi and Fire Mario that will have a total price of $30. For $20, the Gateway Galaxy Diorama features a warp pipe, Peach and Captain Toad figures at 1.5 inches, and a Rob the Robot accessory. Finally, the 12-inch Deluxe Bowser Castle Set features a 1.5-inch Bowser figure and spans three levels that can disassemble into individual pieces. It has the highest price among these three at $40.
IGN has more photos super mario galaxy Movies Toys, and some can be preordered at Walmart or Smyths Toys, with stock reportedly arriving on February 20th. The film will hit the theaters on April 1.
