If you’re considering picking up the latest Pokemon game for the Switch 2, there’s a good reason to do so today, as Best Buy is offering $14 off the physical version. Pokemon Legends: ZA It’s normally priced at $69.99, but you can buy it for $55.99 for the rest of the day – a price that isn’t currently in line with other retailers. According to our reviewer Charles Pulliam-Moore, the title, which launches in October 2025, feels like a return to form, and continues to push the series out of its rut. At this price, the game is cheaper than the original Switch version (but pro tip: the Switch 2 cartridge will also work in the original Switch, and will let you play the full game as if it were a regular Switch cart).
For those who haven’t played a Pokemon game in a while, Legends: ZA follows that formula Arceus Introduced. Rather than functioning strictly as a turn-based RPG, the player can engage in real-time battles against Pokémon – it is even possible to silently capture them without engaging in battle. Personally, prefer sports pokemon sword/shield I was intrigued by the idea of playing another role-playing game, as it felt very similar to playing previous titles, but with better graphics and a larger world. But it seems like a good time to change how you engage with the core mechanics.
