If you are in a star wars movie, chances are very good that an action figure of your character will be made. And with your place in memorable history secured, you’ll inevitably, at some point, be asked to sign that action figure. Fans love autographs! They increase the value of the item and make an extra-nice conversation piece on top of that. No matter what the figure is… disgusting and not extremely Perfect for a specific actor, as Joel Edgerton has discovered.

In a recent Collider interview, Edgerton is promoting the new drama film train dreams With Felicity Jones, who coincidentally is also a star wars The giant of the universe was asked about the strangest thing he has been asked to sign.

Jones was asked the same question, and apparently it was easy for him; evil one The star has mostly been asked to sign Funko Pops of Jyn Erso (“funny little kind of squat dolls,” as she describes them).

But Edgerton? “Oh my God,” he told Collider. “What happened to me was that someone had one of those things in those boxes, and it was a burnt Uncle Owen, like the burnt remains of Uncle Owen. I didn’t even know it existed at the time.”

star wars have released many, many, many toys over the past five decades, but a “Burned Uncle Owen” – depicting the aftermath of the tragic scene on Tatooine, where the moisture farmer and his wife, Beru, met a fiery end after spending years secretly raising a certain Luke Skywalker – could only have come from a custom creator rather than official Lucasfilm channels.

And we applaud the fan for having the courage to feature Edgerton a burnt corpse As for his autograph, even if it wasn’t exactly screen-accurate: Owen ended up here a new HopeOf course, in which he was portrayed by Phil Brown. However, Brown passed away in 2006, so Edgerton is definitely a solid second choice.
