Nintendo and Xbox each had their turn, and now PlayStation has arrived. Sony has just announced its next big State of Play showcase, which will stream on February 12th at 5PM ET. There aren’t many details on what to expect, but Sony says the event will be over an hour long and will feature “the latest from PlayStation Studios teams as well as exciting third-party and indie games based on PS5.”
That said, we can make some guesses for the games that are likely to come out. sarossci-fi shooter from Return Developer Housemark is out in April, while Marvel games like wolverine More from Insomniac Marvel Token: Fighting Souls Both from Arc System Works are expected in 2026. Sony also recently revealed a multiplayer horizon zero dawn spinoff last week, which seems to be a good candidate to appear, as Bungie’s marathon Which has come to light in just more than a month. It’s been a long time since we’ve heard much from Naughty Dogs Intergalactic: Heretic ProphetToo.
