A Christmas tree and a Neapolitan Baroque crèche are on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday, December 1, 2025. The Met continued a long-standing holiday tradition with the presentation of its Christmas Tree. A brilliantly lit, twenty-foot blue spruce looms over an eighteenth-century Neapolitan nativity scene, surrounded by a rich array of lively figures with silk-robed angels hovering above.
