Phish jamming back to Sphere in Las Vegas in 2026

of fish Sphere Productions seemed too expansive to run only four shows through April 2024. As Fishheads expected, the famous jam band is back for nine dates in 2026.

Those shows are scheduled for April 16, 17, 18; 23, 24, 25 and 30; And 1-2 May. Ticket pre-sales run from Tuesday 10 a.m. to Monday 9 a.m. Pacific Time at tickets.phish.com. General on-sale is scheduled for December 12 at 10am ET on Ticketmaster.com.

The band blows up the bulbous wonder in its premiere series running April 18-21, 2024. The band brought its classic lineup of singer-guitarists Trey Anastasio, bass player mike gordon, keyboard page mcconnell and drummer John Fishman.

You didn’t actually see a Phish show until April 18th, so I took in two shows, the opener and the close. No songs were repeated in four performances spanning more than three hours. No video techniques were copied.

From that account: A long line of vintage TV descended upon the band. Dozens, then hundreds, of multicolored, 1990s cars scattered across the screen. You feel the twinkling stars at night, the bright sunshine of the day over a virtual, indoor lake.

A dozen lantern balloons rose from either side of the stage during “Leaves,” a wonderful moment in the first set.

Phish, traditionally, splits the night into two sets. This pause seemed to defy conventional time measurement. Maybe it was 20 minutes, or 30, or an hour. Nobody cared about time or place. When the band returned to the stage for their second 18-song set of the night, dozens of fans were still in attendance.

As one fan said to me during the 30-minute intermission of the first show, “Some people here have seen hundreds of people. But this is surprising me. This place is much cooler than I expected.” Anastasio agreed from the stage, saying, “You should look at it this way, it’s great.”
