The temporary terminal security checkpoint at Philadelphia International Airport continues to remain closed amid the partial government shutdown.

Due to the closure since March 18, passengers have been turned away from three security checkpoints in the airport in an effort to “help optimize operations at other checkpoints,” the airline said.

Here are the wait times for PHL security checkpoints as of Tuesday morning:

  • Terminal A-East: 3 minutes standard security, 2 minutes TSA Precheck
  • Terminal B: 4 minutes standard protection
  • Terminal D/E: 7 minutes standard security, 2 minutes TSA Precheck

Where to go through security in PHL. Which terminals are closed at Philadelphia International Airport?

As of Tuesday, March 24, TSA security checkpoints at Philadelphia’s Terminals A-West, C, and F were still closed.

Although these checkpoints are closed, all terminals are open and accessible. Passengers flying from Philadelphia can still access those terminals after passing through security at other checkpoints, the airport said.

PHL Airport TSA, PreCheck, Terminal Hours

TSA PreCheck is available at Philadelphia International Airport Terminals A-East and D/E.

The hours of open TSA checkpoints and PreCheck are as follows:

  • Terminal A-East Standard Security: 4:15am – 10:15pm
  • Terminal A-East TSA Precheck: 4:15am – 6:30pm
  • Terminal B Standard Security: 3:30 am to 9:30 pm
  • Terminal D/E Standard Security: 3 am to 10:30 pm
  • Terminal D/E TSA PreCheck: 3:45 a.m. to 8 p.m.
